| A Warm Welcome to our Website!
If you enjoy photography - whether taking photographs or simply looking at them, why not come along to our Club?
We have all kinds of photographers as Members, both experienced and novice. No matter what your favourite subject matter or equipment you use, be it medium format or compact camera, film or digital, if you enjoy taking or looking at pictures, or just seek to become more proficient, you will find something to interest you.
We have a full and varied programme of meetings throughout the year, including illustrated talks by leading photographers and competitions where we hear independent judges giving their advice on our efforts.
Members are encouraged to use the Club’s digital darkroom and projection equipment to edit and show their images and to demonstrate new techniques or share problems encountered when trying to enhance those ‘difficult’ images. Many of our more experienced workers give help on the various methods of enhancing images by digital means.
The club is a member of the North Yorkshire and South Durham Photographic Association and the Northern Counties Photographic Federation, through which it is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
The Club meets at 7.15 pm every Wednesday between September and April at the Elmwood Community Centre, Hartburn, Stockton-on-Tees TS18 5EP
We extend a warm welcome to all visitors and prospective new members.
